Vegan Buttermilk Seitan BBQ Tenders

INGREDIENTS
For the Flour Dredge…
1 cup Flour
1 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
For the Buttermilk Brine…
1 cup Almond Milk
1 tsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Pickle Juice
1 8oz box Blackbird Texas BBQ Seitan
METHOD
Mix buttermilk brine and add seitan, marinate in fridge for one hour
Mix flour dredge and set aside
Put an inch of oil into a small pot and place on high heat
Begin breading your seitan, from the buttermilk mixture, to the flour and then back to the buttermilk and back to the flour
Once all of the seitan is breaded and your oil is at 350, fry in batches for about 2 minutes each side
Remove from oil and place on paper towel, serve immediately
