Hawaiian Lettuce Wraps

Blackbird Food Recipe 

Makes 6 wraps 

INGREDIENTS 

Iceberg Lettuce 

1 Package of Blackbird Texas BBQ Seitan

¼ cup diced pineapple

¼ cup diced red bell pepper

¼ cup diced cucumber 

2 Tbsp sliced red onion

2 scallions, sliced 

Plant based ranch to taste

METHOD

  1. Air Fry or saute seitan for 10 minutes, flipping pieces in between 

  2. While seitan is cooking, chop your vegetables and pineapple 

  3. When seitan is cooked, shred using two forks and toss in your favorite vegan BBQ sauce, set aside 

  4. Assemble pieces of iceberg lettuce, stacking 2 together to create a cup shape 

  5. Place seitan in lettuce wrap, then top with vegetables, pineapple and plant based ranch, serve immediately
